Our fleet also includes luxury SUVs and sedans (Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Suburban, Mercedes S, Audi A8 or similar). With Royal Traveler Direct, you can fully customize your trip with your preferred time and start and end locations.
How long is the trip?
The average trip between DC and NYC takes approximately 4-4.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
What stops are along the route?
With Royal Traveler Direct, you decide what stops to make.
Am I able to reserve multiple vehicles?

Is smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages permitted aboard Royal Traveler?
Smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibited during all trips.
Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for my child?
All children are required to have their own seat for the safety of all passengers on board.
Do you have a rewards program?
We do! It’s called Royal Rewards and is free to join. There are several ways members earn points, which can be exchanged for vouchers that will save you big money. Program details, including how to join, are available on our Royal Rewards page.
Can you accommodate my disability?
Drivers will be happy to provide reasonable accommodations to any passengers with disabilities. Please note, however, that our assistance is limited by the vehicles that we operate. For example, while most of our vehicles can accommodate folding wheelchairs, other mobility devices or equipment may not fit. As such, you should contact Royal Traveler with any specific requests for disability accommodation prior to your trip.
Are pets allowed on Royal Traveler?
As always, and consistent with ADA requirements, Royal Traveler allows service animals to accompany passengers when the service animal has been trained to do work or perform tasks directly related to the passenger’s disability.
But now we’re happy to announce that Royal Traveler will accommodate most other pets (including emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals). This policy excludes non-standard (e.g. exotic or endangered) animals, animals over 50 lbs., and other animals at the company’s discretion. Regardless of size or type, your pet must remain in a crate or other carrying case provided by you for the duration of the trip, but your driver will permit up to two additional stops to let them outside. Note that a pet fee will apply, which is in addition to any other cleaning or other damage fees that may be assessed, and that you will be required to sign an additional waiver prior to your trip.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?
Tickets are non-refundable, but if your plans change you may reschedule your reservation with at least 7 days notice to Royal Traveler.
What should I bring with me prior to boarding?
Please have a hard copy or mobile version of your reservation confirmation and driver’s license or another form of photo ID ready to show the driver upon boarding.
What is your luggage policy?
We allow one piece of luggage (up to 50 lbs) and one small personal item that must fit in the area around your feet. Our drivers will load your baggage for you while you comfortably wait aboard the vehicle. Please make sure all luggage is properly tagged and identifiable.
