What makes Royal Traveler so luxurious?
Our Mercedes Sprinter vehicles are custom-designed for relaxation, including chairs that recline and allow for a raised footrest. With Royal Traveler, you can wait for your ride inside a luxury hotel lobby, rather than in the heat or cold outside. The following amenities are available aboard every vehicle:

  • Reliable wifi (it actually works!)
  • Sparkling and still water
  • Snacks
  • Personal DirectTV screen and remote control
  • Charging outlets including USB ports
  • Lap desk for maximum productivity

How long is the trip?
The average trip between DC and NYC takes approximately 4.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. With our limited number of passengers, we are able to depart on time and quickly without the delays other forms of transportation may experience.

What stops are along the route?
Royal Traveler will make one fifteen-minute rest stop along the way so you can grab food or use the restroom. Safety is of paramount importance at Royal Traveler and the stop has the added benefit of keeping our drivers fresh and alert for the entire trip.

Am I able to reserve an entire vehicle?
Of course! We do many charters and group rides. Royal Traveler is a great option for a group outing or your next office outing or retreat. For more information, visit our Group Sales page.

Is smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages permitted aboard Royal Traveler?
Although smoking and drinking alcohol are prohibited on Royal Traveler, we provide our guests with refreshing sparkling and non-sparkling bottled water and gourmet snacks to enjoy at their leisure.

Can I choose my own seat aboard Royal Traveler?
We operate on a first-come-first-serve basis and do not assign seats. Due to the unique configuration of our vehicles, all seats offer equal comfort and convenience.

Do I need to purchase a separate ticket for my child?
All children are required to have their own seat for the safety of all passengers on board. Due to the design of our luxury vehicles, we are unable to accommodate car seats for infants and toddlers at this time.

Are pets allowed on Royal Traveler?
We do not allow pets or animals aboard Royal Traveler; however, we do permit service animals. Service animals, trained for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person, will be allowed on the vehicle. The service animal must be under the control of its owner at all times. The animal must ride within the customer’s space and may not occupy another seat. Royal Traveler reserves the right to refuse any animal that poses a threat to other passengers.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my trip?
Tickets are non refundable, but if your plans change you may reschedule your reservation for another time.

How will I locate my shuttle?
Sit back and relax in the comfort of luxury hotel lobbies while you wait for a uniformed Royal Traveler driver to escort you to the vehicle. Should you need to locate your shuttle, you can identify our Sprinters by the Royal Traveler logo on the side of the vehicle.

What should I bring with me prior to boarding?
Please have a hard copy or mobile version of your reservation confirmation and driver’s license or another form of photo ID ready to show the driver upon boarding. Royal Traveler encourages passengers to bring their headsets for use with their in-seat entertainment.

What is your luggage policy?
We allow one piece of luggage (up to 50 lbs) and one small personal item that must fit in the overhead storage bins per passenger. Our drivers will load your baggage for you while you comfortably wait aboard the vehicle. Please make sure all luggage is properly tagged and identifiable.

We take our customer service seriously and will do whatever we can to accommodate you if you have different requirements. Please inquire in advance.
